along an eight-mile stretch of the MoPac Expressway from downtown Austin to Slaughter Lane.
The stakes are real. This proposed roadway project impacts the Edwards Aquiferand the City's Crown Jewels:
Zilker Park, Barton Creek, Barton Springs, Dick Nichols Park, Volma Overton Sr, and Williamson Creek Greenbelt.
